Read All About It! No. 11

What is the difference between Read All About It! and This Week On HEAR911? The main difference is the format. One is a blog for those who like to read the information, one is a video format for those who like to view/listen to the information. The blog and video will usually contain different information. In the videos I’m trying to get you to know me a little better. It’s hard to tell who someone is by the written word alone, sometimes it helps to see and hear them speak. That’s how I view it. In the blogs I’m trying to communicate information in a clear and concise way but not necessarily trying to get you to know me better. It’s more about the information. In the videos I’m trying to give you a little of both. Remember the This Week On HEAR911 videos are an experiment.

This Week On HEAR911 will be from the Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area of the Everglades. I watched a few videos on YouTube that helped me address the wind in the microphone issue. It always comes back to- when you don’t know what you’re doing go find out from someone that does. I don’t mention it in the video since it’s not actually this week but you don’t want to miss next weeks blog because it will feature an incident I responded to years ago that was one of the weirdest incidents ever. I’ll give you a clue here, it’s about the nazi, the cats and the mouse concentration camp. Check it out let me know what you think. Don’t forget it’s a true event.

On Tuesday’s Animal Rescue Postmortem Volume 2 Number 5 I analyze an incident where a Leopard is down in a well. It looks like they’re in India. They must have some very interesting experiences with wildlife over there based on the videos that are part of this series. Then on Thursday’s Animal Rescue Postmortem Vol. 2 No. 6 there will be a deer with a pumpkin on it’s head. To date it is one of the best planned and executed animal rescues seen in this series. I’ll give you a clue, they get a 5 star rating.
