Number 6 is an old one. This ACME Newspictures- Cleveland Bureau was taken June 26, 1934 Title: Cat Clings to Pole as Kittens Die of Starvation “A mother cat, chased up a telephone pole by a dog, was rescued through efforts of the Animal Protective League after she had clung to her lofty perch for five days, during which time her two baby kittens had died of starvation. Photo shows: A telephone company lineman lowering the cat to the ground.”
