Our first official post! May 1-7 is officially National Hurricane Preparedness Week in 2023. Hurricane season. You know it. You live it. Prepared yet? You should be already. Every year we see people who live here in Florida act like they’ve never heard of the possibility of a hurricane until they announce one is coming then rush to the store for supplies when the shelves are already empty.

Those who have experienced empty shelves or rationing of items will understand how important it is to stock up before a disaster rather than take the risk of not having the supplies they need.

If you’re new to Florida living or unprepared this document from the (click the underlined text for the documents) Federal Emergency Management Agency and the National Animal Control Association will help you be prepared for any type of disaster. We believe these two checklist are more than adequate to help prepare you and your animals.
